UWorld MCAT QBank

This was an excellent resource for me when studying for the MCAT! This was one of the more affordable resources. The practice questions were similar to the real exam and had amazing explanations for why an answer was right or wrong. If you learn best by doing practice problems, I cannot recommend UWorld enough!!!

This is very useful. I personally found UWorld and aamc to be the main resources for getting a good score!

When studying for the MCAT, I wish I skipped content review entirely and instead used UWorld for content review. Specifically and I can't stress this enough, if you religiously study the psych/sociology section - guaranteed score increase in that section. GUARANTEED. This was one of the best representations of the true exam and got be prepared on how to engage with the material and not just memorize.

This is the Silver** Standard for question banks (The gold standard is AAMC questions/full lengths). But it's so close because there are so many questions, so much practice, and it is a little harder than the MCAT, so you get to over prepare. This is definitely a must buy if you are going to spend $$ on buying MCAT resources. The MCAT is all about practice, not content memorization. Use uWorld to practice!!

UWorld was the main thing that I used to study and I basically skipped content review since I didn't have a lot of time. Still, I was able to learn a lot of content from the Uworld explanations, which are really thorough and do well. The UI is also pretty user friendly and easy to use!

Besides AAMC tests/q banks, this is the only resource worth spending $ on in my opinion! Questions are the best way to learn, and UWorld's graphics/explanations were fantastic for both reviewing and learning my weak spots

I studied for the MCAT in a shorter time frame than most people, and I can attribute a lot of my speed to my preparation for the MCAT with this tool. It costs a lot of money, but I can guarantee it is an investment. If you choose to get this resource, start using it on day one- even if you are still in your content review phase. It is never too early to start using its practice questions!

I would say this product was what saved my last minute Mcat preparation. While the Kaplan and TPR books may provide content, the UWorld questions themselves ARE the content review. If you were limited in funding I would select this product.

uWorld was a make or break tool for me during my MCAT prep. While I had read a book set to relearn all of the content, applying that alongside reading the intricate and detailed descriptions on every single concept in uWorld truly helped me understand everything as well as made it significantly easier for me to apply it during the practice and real exams. This is because it uses the exact same format. The most important part of uWorld is really internalizing the explanations for each question as that is what will help you understand things better - whether you got the question right and it instills the knowledge into you, or if you get it wrong and learn a fundamental understanding of it!
