Good practice. I found doing them consistently helped me start out with a good baseline. I did this pretty consistently over like a few years and started off with a 131 on my CARS diagnostic with it. Seems that's the trend in this review section. These questions are harder than the real thing but that's part of what makes them so good!

These passages are the closest to the real MCAT I've found (outside of the AAMC material). I got a 131 on CARS and these passages were my main practice!

I did 300+ Jack Westin CARS passages over about 1 year. Here's the deal. For what it's worth, it's great. It's free passages that you can use while you study. However, most of them are only 80% good. Meaning 4/5 questions are SOLID reading comprehension questions that are tested with crystal clear logic like the MCAT. The others, are up to interpretation which is NOT what the MCAT is. So use this to get to that 4/5 consistent mark, then transition to better AAMC paid resources to finish up your CARS to perfection! This resource is great though to improve reading time, focus on getting the main idea. If you are not consistently getting 4/5-5/5, you can keep using JS CARS!
